Real Wedding Description

Francesca Ferrucci (wedding planner and Federica’s sister):
“When the bride, my sister Federica, more than one year ago, asked me to organize her wedding, she had in her mind the perfect image of her dreamed wedding: an outdoor wedding ceremony under the sunny Tuscan hills around Volterra, a typical Tuscan farm and an al fresco organic dinner illuminated by thousands of candles and lanterns.

After some site inspection visits, I found the perfect wedding venue in La Mandriola and Ragone, an organic farm just few km from the famous Theater of Silence and right in front of the walled Etruscan town of Volterra.

The symbolic wedding ceremony was held beside a small lake and the bride, with a different organza bridal gown arrived walking with her boots through the fields, accompanied by the father, and walked down the aisle decorated by several shepherd hooks of white dahlias and pale pink hydrangeas in Mason’s Jars.

Country style buffet arranged with DIY decorations with tins and Mason’s Jars and flower arrangements of white dahlias, pale pink and white hydrangeas and i of assorted succulents and bunny tails were absolutely charming.

Reception dinner arrangements with 2 long imperial tables and country style chairs illuminated by some string of lights and thousands of candles and lanterns were the perfect setting of a traditional Tuscan wedding.

A lot of personal and project foresees details:
During the aperitive guests enjoyed taking pictures at the photo booth corner, arranged with a vintage suitcases and windows, Marlane frames and two shabby-chic sofas.

A funny “I Spy” game during the dinner delighted children and adults capturing pictures with some Polaroid cameras.
Instead of the traditional guest book, the couple arranged three Marlane frames with a wire netting where guests wrote messages in little cards which were then hanged on the net.

Sweets and favors table were arranged by the florist with assorted italian sweets and delicious biscuits,
As wedding keepsake favors guests were given small Mason’s Jars with assorted flower bulbs.

Many compliments go to the stunning floral designer Mrs. Barbara partitions from Boutique del Fiore, who carefully prepared the gorgeous unusual bridal bouquet made of various succulents, pale pink English roses, pale pink dahlias, white lisyanthus and hydrangeas, bunny tails, sage and nut brown berries, as well as special thanks go to the outstanding photographer Mr. Alessandro Baglioni who, with his expertise, captured all the details of the day.”
