Real Wedding Description

Tiffany and William knew how to have a great time on their wedding day. From dirty jokes, to off-the-cuff humor, the entire wedding party was all about having fun. Too many couples these days let the stress of their wedding day take away from the enjoyment of it. Tiffany and Will did the opposite; they let the enjoyment of the day become their event.

The wedding day began with the traditional getting ready and Chinese door games. The poor groomsmen were subjected to almost unspeakable torture and humiliation before finally being allowed to “buy” their way into the home of the bride. Once in, William proceeded upstairs, straightened his tie, and met him bride to be with open arms. Tea ceremonies at both houses followed, where emotions spilled from the loving parents of the bride and groom.

The wedding ceremony took place at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church in Toronto. Though lighting is strictly prohibited at this church, I take a “beg forgiveness” approach, rather than ask permission. 3 strobes were used during the procession, though only available light one the couple were in place and the ceremony resumed.

The photo session with the wedding party took place at the Don Valley Brickworks, which has been a photographer hotspot for years but has been just recently converted to a gallery and event facility. It was evident that the photos had to be fun, lively, and edgy, as the bridal party was indeed a ‘party’! At some point the groomsmen decided to display unique acts of “closeness” as we captured what are by far some of the most hilarious photos I’ve had the chance to shoot…and this before any alcohol was consumed!

The Markham Event Center hosted the evening, which is a popular choice among Chinese couples with large weddings.
