ISPWP 2016 Annual Wedding Photographer Survey

This survey was administered by the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) in August 2016. The ISPWP is a worldwide organization of the world’s best wedding photographers who have all met our minimum requirement of 50 weddings as the lead photographer, and who have submitted their portfolio for peer review and voting.

Survey questions were not limited to members of the ISPWP. Solicitations for survey responses were sent to ISPWP members as well as broadcast on social media for any professional wedding photographer to participate. There were 522 responses from 48 countries included in the survey.

The survey is an informal measurement of some aspects of the business of wedding photography. It is not meant to be an exhaustive, peer-reviewed, scientifically administered survey and the margin of error is unknown.
