Emma and Jonni are in that caregory all wedding photogrpahers seek out 'the perfrct client'. Warm, funny and natrual with a firm viewpoint that a wedding is to be enjoyed by all. Emma gre up in atiny hamlet in very rural Suffolk. her Mums thatched cottage is right next door to the parish church, it was obvious where she'd be married! Mum's meadows were transformed by a beautiful and very large margquee and all the local ladies helped to make sandwiches and cream tea items to cater for a large guest list. 

On the day everything was relaxed but the weather was absolutely scorching hot. We worked with the trees and the marquee to give folks shade and between all those happy folks, the couple and us achieved a snapshot of the best of English summer!

In a beautiful day a few things stood out for us, first was the Brenizer type portrait we took of the couple in amongst the rambling vines of Emma's Mum's grapes. There's something about this style which leans into a more medium format look we really love. Second was the speeches, genuinely the funniest collection we've heard in over 300 weddings with the crown swinging wildly and frequently between belly laughs and happy tears. Quite a ride. In the evening as it coooled just a little Jonni grabbed Emma's hand and told us to follow him as he ran off site and up to the hills surrounding the wedding. In a newly cut corn filed he sang a beatles tune and danced Emma around in fits of giggles, we all sang along and the four of us had one of those genuinely unrepeatable moments together. 

Weddings come in all shapes and sizes and each has something special to make it stand out, for us, Emma and Jonni's day was special end to end. We hope you enjoy it!
