Khetam & Amir were wed Friday, May 17 during an intimate ceremony, then celebrated in high style with a lavish wedding reception at the W Hotel City Center on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

The couple shared a first look on a candlelit staircase in the W Hotel’s ‘Living Room’ lobby lounge before departing for portraits along Chicago’s lakefront.

Amir and his parents made their grand entrance to the thunderous drum beat, sword play and dance of the Layalina Dance Troupe. Khetam was welcomed by nearly 30 minutes of revelry and celebration featuring song and dance with friends and family circling the newlyweds and hoisting them on shoulders around the ballroom. Guests traveled from as far away as Dubai to celebrate with Amir and Khetam in Chicago.
