These are the images of a Greek destination wedding which took place at Sifnos, a well known and wonderful Greek island that belongs to the famous Cyclades island complex.
Fotini and Apostolos decided to have their wedding at Sifnos as it is their favorite destination, especially the village “Kastro” (castle). Therefore, the answer to the question “which church” came up quickly and easily….the “Seven Martyrs” little church, which is situated just below “Kastro” village was chosen.
They didn’t meet at Sifnos but Apostolos proposed to Fotini during their holidays at their favorite island.
The wedding was simple and traditional, just 75 guests in the company of the sun, the blue sky and sea, the white walls and the blue house roofs… elements for which the Cyclades island complex is famous for.
Two musicians escorted first the groom and later the bride, from their apartments and all the way to the chapel. Village people and even tourists mixed with the guests and went down, all the steps that lead to the “Seven Martyrs” small temple. We had a “location studio” photo session next day at “Kastro” village.
