Real Wedding Description

When we had to schedule our pre-wedding consultation around Colin and Becky’s Dodgeball League, I knew right away that they were a bride and groom I would LOVE to shoot!

I was right. They were an absolute blast to be with on their wedding day! We had two hours set aside for photos between the ceremony and reception and we made full use of them by going to Vancouver’s Olympic Village, Hotel Georgia’s 1927 Lounge and then wandered around Gastown for a bit before taking a bit of a break to freshen up and thaw out. We had a lot of laughs as we dodged raindrops and gusts of wind. They knew that having a winter wedding in Vancouver would be iffy and they just went for it. I’m so glad they did.

The wedding reception was held at Heritage Hall in Vancouver and looked absolutely amazing thanks to the planning and styling team of Eventful Planners and Niche Event Stylists. The damask chair covers and feather & crystal centerpieces made the room look stunning and were enjoyed by the guests as I heard lots of ‘oohs and ahhs’ as guests entered the hall. The candy buffet was a great treat for guests of all ages. I made sure to sneak a piece of that delicious red velvet cake before leaving for the night!.
