This was probably one of the most emotional weddings I’ve ever attended and this couple had me both laughing and crying all day long (sometimes at the same time). They were so punch-drunk completely in love and I think it showed in every frame.
Their wedding was at the private Ana y Jose Beach Club in Tulum and it was a fantastic location since they had the entire place to themselves (no onlookers in bathing suits and beach chairs while the wedding was going on).
There were several days of torrential rains in Tulum during the days leading up to the wedding so we were all a bit worried. But that all changed on the wedding day itself (thank goodness)! It did rain lightly, but the real waterworks were during the vows. There was a point where I couldn’t actually see through my view finder because of the tears. Thank goodness for auto focus!
I loved that they incorporated so many fun wedding details including a mariachi band and maracas for all the guests. The setting was so natural and serene – a perfect place for a ceremony & reception.
