Real Wedding Description

Stephanie and David met in March 2007 at a wedding in Charlotte, North Carolina (she was the maid of honor and he was a groomsman) and sparks flew instantly and within a few days they had officially fallen in love.

The next year of their lives was not an easy way to start a relationship. As an ex-Naval submarine officer Dave was always on the move, and soon got an offer to work on a sailing yacht traveling the world, which Stephanie encouraged him to do. While the communication was limited while he was crossing the Med to Croatia, it served as a time where their foundation grew strong and they knew their relationship was worth going the distance.

They got in engaged in June 2008 and began planning their dream wedding at Dave’s alma mater, the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland with a reception at historic St. John’s College.
