Real Wedding Description

Even though this wedding was in the beginning of December, these winter wedding photos looked they were captured in June!  Victoria contracted me as her photographer as soon as her date was set, as she saw me in action at her cousin's wedding and just booked me over the phone.

This couple has something for the winter I guess, we did their engagement pictures on one of the coldest days of the year in January of 2015.

The day started out as hectic where the hair salon’s stylists were late getting in and the bride was 90 minutes late arriving home!  I calmed her down and got her back on schedule.  We had plenty of time for pictures without rushing, so going from New Jersey to Center City Philadelphia was no problem at all.  Because it was the beginning of December, the Christmas tree was decorated in the spacious lobby of The Merion.   So after the standard circular stair pictures with the bridal party and families, it was on to the tree!

The reception was – well crazy! Over 250 people, with the best DJ in the Philadelphia and South Jersey – Johnny Luciano – aka DJ Johnny Looch.  Since this wedding had a flavor of South Philly – it is a given he is the DJ for the event – and he is by far the best I ever worked with.

This wedding was an absolute blast as we were pretty exhausted by the end of our 12 hour day – and another great wedding in The Mele family!
