Some people still think Washington D.C is a stuffy place where style goes to die. Maybe twenty years ago. These days, it is as stylish as anyplace. DC does have its quirks though, and barricades lining the street fresh off of keeping protesters at bay from the 53 world leaders at the convention center across the street from your wedding venue, a World Bank officer from Spain who speaks english with a german accent, and a phenomenally stylish optometrist all converged at the Longview Art Gallery to celebrate their marriage. A marriage unlikely to have happened even ten years ago.
Daniel and Drew got ready at the Historic Morrison-Clark Inn where Drew tied Daniel's bow tie, and Daniel placed the cufflinks on Drew's cuffs. Their custom made suits, Daniel's in DC and Drew's in Hanoi, reflected the cosmopolitan nature of their wedding. Though numbering fewer than a hundred the guests traveled from far and wide to celebrate their union.
Add bankers and optometrists to the list of stuffy stereotypes but like DC toss that list out the window. These guys were anything but.
