Real Wedding Description

At some weddings, my greatest challenge as a photographer is not taking pictures. It is resisting the urge to chomp down on some Argentinian steak, do a shot with Terry and run whooping onto the dance floor. (In other words, Jeff and Ally's wedding was incredibly fun!)

The day started at Bond Street Wharf where we did a bunch of family and couple portraits outside (the weather gods were smiling on us -- seventy degrees in late October!)  We then walked across Fells Point to Bar Vasquez, a new Argentinian Restaurant where Ally and Jeff were having their ceremony and reception. There was a bit of socializing and cocktails before the short ceremony and then a lot more of the same before dinner. There was laughter, hugging, and animated conversation, by all accounts a great event... and then they turned it up to 11. 

DJ Chris Brooks put on some dance music and the party went into overdrive. The dance floor filled in what seemed like seconds and everybody was cutting loose, from the flower girl to Jeff and Ally's parents. It was the kind of party where you wake up the next morning a bit tired, maybe with a slight hangover, and a huge smile on your face that lasts for days.
