Photographing a destination wedding in Mallorca is a real experience. I can assure you that the work becomes a pleasure and the atmosphere that invades the couple and the wedding guests, surrounds you and makes you participate in each of the moments you are photographing. It’s unique.

A wedding in Mallorca is not only special because the place where the couple gets married is incredible, but also because the people themselves and their energy make the wedding unique and unforgettable.

Melissa and Douwe are definitely one of those couples that I will never forget. The truth is that I must take off my hat before them and say to them thanks a lot for the trust, friendship and understanding they placed on me in such a special day for them.

I´m sure they will carry Mallorca in their hearts and they won´t forget all the moments that they lived at their wedding. I remember many moments, especially when I was with Melissa and her father on the back seat of their Mini Cooper convertible through those nice streets of Deya heading for the church.

Nor can I forget the sunset in Son Marroig, where they celebrated their wedding all over. I´d like to say that Son Marroig was breathtaking. This small palace on the shores of the Mediterranean, in the heart of the Tramontana Hills stole my heart. As a photographer enjoying and having at your disposal a place like Son Marroig is amazing. It was like a real fairy tale.

Speaking of fairy tales, I can´t forget the incredible work of Christina´s Fairytale weddings Mallorca. Not only for the organization, but also for all the decoration. It was also comforting to find a wedding planner as professional as her.

Melissa and Douwe, thank you for everything, for giving me the opportunity to photograph your wedding in Mallorca, to make a hole in your heart and thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I miss you guys!!
