As a wedding photographer, I specialize in capturing real and authentic moments that tell the unique story of the day. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for photography, I strive to create timeless images that will treasure for years to come. With years as a photojournalist experience in the mass-media industry, I have developed a natural and unobtrusive approach, allowing me to capture candid moments as they unfold. My ultimate goal is to create a collection of photographs that transport the people back to the joy and excitement of the wedding day, allowing them to relive those precious memories for a lifetime.

Raised in North Carolina but now based in Los Angeles, Marissa’s work has taken her all over the country and around the world. She is best known for combining her creative, documentary moments with artistic portraits. She has been recognized as a top wedding photographer in the U.S. and globally by Fearless Photographers, ISPWP, World’s Best Photos, School of Wedding Photography, and This Is Reportage and has received numerous titles and awards. That said, what Marissa values the most are her relationships with her clients who seamlessly become part of her extended circle of close friends and family. When not shooting weddings, she captures projects for Amazon Studios, Hulu, Netflix, HBO, Freeform, and many others. Marissa is also a mom to a fearless 4-year-old boy, adventurous 2-year-old girl, a rescue German shepherd!—and has an incredible human being as a husband and partner.

Ciao! I'm a photographer based in Tuscany, Italy. When I started shoot weddings I was just immediately hooked. Every wedding is a unique story and is a special and unique day of two families, and we have the great honor and the big responsability to tell it. We preserve significant memories forever.

I think that photography is sharing between the photographer and the subjects, between the photographer and the world around him. It's an exchange.

I love to photograph what I like and so I can express myself without limits and trying to make something of different and looking for new challenges everytime.
