I was born in San Miguel de Allende and always had a great passion for photography. I studied and worked with some of the best photographers in Guanajuato, and thanks to that I was able to expand my knowledge. For several years I worked as a wedding photographer between Quintana Roo and the Island of Saint Lucia, until I decided to return to my town and continue working on what I am most passionate about!
Currently I have my own photography company focused mainly on weddings. My style is known for being natural and spontaneous obviously with a unique artistic touch.

Born in 1973, Luigi embraced his training and adventure in the world of photography when he was only 14 years old. Now, more than 30 years later, and with a profound experience in the sector, he is the owner of FOTOROTASTUDIO where he manages a team of professional photographers and video makers.

Luigi was one of the first pioneer photographers to apply the reportage approach in wedding photography. By changing style and techniques he continues to produce dynamic and emotional images of the highest quality.
He has received important awards and international recognitions, such as:
QIP and QEP – FEP about wedding photography and has become a member of the most prominent international associations of professional photographers: WPJA, AGWPJA, WPPI, ISPWP, FEARLESS, ISPWP, WPS along with the Italian ones: ANFM, Tau-Visual, FIOF. He was selected as a founder member of BOWP (Best Of Wedding Photography) Italy, an association which acknowledges the best wedding photographers in the world. A great number of his images have been published in wedding magazines, books, issues, exhibitions and have won several competitions around the world.

Photography teacher, Luigi regularly delivers courses at all levels around Italy.
For the past 10 years he has also been organising wedding photography workshops especially tailored to professional photographers. From 2017 onwards he has included photographic trips with destinations all over the world as part of his repertoire, e.g. India and Thailand.
He collaborates with Nikon Italia as teacher at “Nikon School” and as photographer at NPS. His expertise is also appreciated by agencies and companies such as “Celebra Album” which he also represents as Academy Ambassador and Testimonial or the Ricorda Group. Luigi spends a lot of time researching and experimenting with new techniques, therefore his style is constantly evolving.
